How property viewings, customer confirmations and concerns are handled through Real Agent.
Viewing before a transaction
Prospective buyers or renters should view a property before deciding whether to proceed. Viewing times depend on property-side availability and any applicable marketplace or transaction conditions.
What Real Agent records
Real Agent may record that an authenticated prospective customer completed a scheduled viewing and may ask whether the property was at the stated location, substantially corresponded with the listing, or raised a material discrepancy, fraud concern or safety concern.
What a viewing does not mean
A completed viewing is not a professional assessment or certification. It does not establish legal title, structural condition, valuation, survey boundaries or other specialist matters.
Concerns and discrepancies
If a viewer reports a material concern, Real Agent may review the listing, request clarification or supporting information, restrict or suspend the listing, or require independent verification where circumstances warrant.
Safe conduct
Visitors and property representatives should follow reasonable access and security arrangements, avoid unnecessary disclosure of personal information, and report threatening, deceptive, unsafe or improper conduct through Real Agent.
Specialist checks remain separate
Where legal, surveying, valuation, engineering or other professional checks are appropriate, the relevant party should engage a suitably qualified independent professional. Real Agent does not treat ordinary property viewing as a substitute for those services.
