Listing & Verification Policy
How properties enter Real Agent, what we screen, and why paying a listing fee is different from being verified.
Listings start with a submission
Property owners and authorised representatives submit property information through Real Agent. The platform structures that information and can flag incomplete, risky or contact-leaking content for review.
Payment is not approval
A listing fee covers the applicable listing service. Payment does not mean Real Agent has verified ownership, title, planning status, structural condition, price, boundaries, vacancy or freedom from disputes. It also does not guarantee publication.
What “verified” means
When Real Agent displays a verification status, it should be read together with the verification detail. Verification is limited to the evidence and checks actually completed. A document can appear genuine and still be subject to a later dispute or fact that was not reasonably discoverable at the time.
Our publication control
We may request corrections, supporting documents, clearer photographs or additional checks. We may reject, suspend or remove a listing where information cannot be supported, appears misleading, creates safety concerns, breaches policy or becomes the subject of a credible dispute.
Your own due diligence still matters
Before committing significant money, obtain the legal, survey, valuation, planning, technical and other professional checks that are appropriate for the property and transaction.
