Inspection & Appointment Policy

How Real Agent coordinates property inspections, reminders, rescheduling and safe conduct.

Effective 30 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-30

When inspections become available

Inspection scheduling is opened only when the applicable conditions for that property are satisfied. These can include payment, listing status, identity or transaction checks and property-side availability.

Appointments are coordinated

A requested time is not final until it is confirmed. Property availability, travel, access restrictions or safety concerns can require a different time.

Be on time and behave respectfully

Visitors should follow reasonable access and security instructions, avoid damaging or removing property, and respect occupants, neighbours and staff. Real Agent may end or refuse an inspection where there is threatening, deceptive or unsafe behaviour.

Changes and missed appointments

If you cannot attend, request a change as early as possible. Repeated no-shows or last-minute changes may affect future scheduling or fees where resources have already been committed.

An inspection is not professional certification

Seeing a property does not replace a survey, valuation, structural inspection or legal due diligence where those checks are appropriate.

A practical note

These pages explain how Real Agent operates. They are written to be understood, not to hide important conditions in difficult wording. Nigerian law and the terms of a particular transaction may add requirements that are not repeated on every page.
